ABOUT
DE PIRIAC-SUR- MER
Piriac-sur-Mer, a must-see! Situated at the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan and the Vilaine estuary, Île Dumet, the only island in the Loire-Atlantique region, is the jewel in the crown.
Its facilities are equal to the place, with a harbour that can accommodate 830 boats, ranked 4th in France and 2nd in the department.
A nautical base, sponsored by Damien Seguin, renowned sailor and managed by "Nautisme en Pays Blanc", ranked 1st as a regional sailing school and 3rd nationally, which has developed handivoile, the training of future instructors and the discovery of seafaring professions for people in rehabilitation.
Situated at the gateway to the Guérande salt marshes and the Brière regional park, the town is proud of its history, its unique character and the way it defends its environment. With the Petite Cité de Caractère and Famille Plus labels, Piriac is a festive, family-friendly town, just like the people of Piriac, who know how to cultivate their art of living.
