ABOUT LA TURBALLE

A pretty, colourful and lively town all year round, La Turballe has everything to charm visitors for the duration of a stay, or even a lifetime.

A listed seaside resort, La Turballe offers a wide range of walks and cycle rides along the sea, as well as visits to the town's heritage sites (fish auction, fishing museum, Kerboué mill and Trescalan lookout) and a deep-water port. The expansion of the port, carried out by the Loire-Atlantique department, with an even larger careening area to accommodate larger vessels and the arrival of offshore wind turbine maintenance, means that the town can look to the future.

Renowned for its fishing port, La Turballe is also a welcoming and dynamic marina. Sheltered and accessible 24 hours a day, located just a few miles from the islands of Southern Brittany, you have all the services you need for a quality stopover. Since summer 2023, a new outer harbour has been able to accommodate vessels of up to 20 m in length and 3 m draught!

Since 2021, the Loire-Atlantique département has been a major partner of the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec. As such, the town of La Turballe will be hosting the finish village for the 2024 event. The département is providing support for associations wishing to take part in this event. For more information on how to get involved, please follow the link here.
