L'ÉTAPE by La Solitaire
OC Sport Pen Duick and Paprec, Title Partner of La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec, are breaking new ground by offering everyone the chance to take part in the first double-handed leg of France's historic sailing race from 2024. Called L'ÉTAPE by La Solitaire, this stage will be contested on the same course as the rest of the fleet. Pre-registration is now open.
This innovative initiative aims to attract and train a new generation of Figaro BENETEAU 3 skippers by giving them their first experience of double-handed ocean racing. It's a formula that allows everyone to experience the joys of competition, while benefiting from the same organisation, including safety on the water, race management and all the onshore infrastructures. The duos, whose minimum number has been set at five, will benefit from reduced entry fees (€500 excluding VAT) and a special ranking.
