Yvon Larnicol: his first Solitaire

Yvon Larnicol's career has spanned crewed regattas, double-handed sailing, and his first solo experiences. A determined sailor, he launched his Figaro project under the banner of the Auray - Quiberon by Orlabay collective, which supports young talents in achieving performance in ocean racing.

In 2023, he won the Tour Voile with the Bretagne - Jeune Habitable team, a significant victory which accelerated his transition to solo sailing.

In 2025, he achieved a fine 4th place in the Solo Maître CoQ and won the Laura Vergne Trophy as a crew.

This year he will be taking part in his first Solitaire du Figaro Paprec, with the desire to compete with the best and reach a new level.
