Le Havre

Just two hours from Paris, Le Havre is an ideal destination for the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec. Accustomed to major competitions, the city regularly hosts key events such as the Transat Café L'Or Le Havre Normandie and the Grandes Voiles du Havre, showcasing its expertise and commitment to sailing.

Having already been a starting city in 2010 and 2018, Le Havre will host the arrival of the Solitaire for the first time in 2026, marking a new stage in its history with the event.

Its three-kilometer beach, its body of water accessible at all tide times and its infrastructure in the heart of the city offer ideal conditions for offshore racing, in a rare proximity to the public.

Beyond its maritime identity, Le Havre is a unique city. Founded by François I and immortalized by Claude Monet, it is a land of inspiration where light and water shape its landscapes. Open to the sky, the sea, and the estuary, the city offers ever-changing light reminiscent of the Impressionist legacy, lending it an atmosphere that is both aesthetically pleasing and vibrant. Rebuilt by Auguste Perret after the Second World War, its city center boasts a unique architecture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.
