Apart from the return of the sun, the scenery on the Bay of Biscay has changed very little. Still sailing in a southwesterly flow of around twenty knots, the Figaro sailors continue their descent towards the Spanish coast.

Currently, the 35 Figaro boats are sailing at the latitude of La Rochelle. Tomorrow should be a more strategic day with a wind shift to navigate as they head towards Cape Finisterre. As the hours pass, the wind is expected to change direction, shifting from southwest to south. A new race will then begin, but for the moment the sailors are trying to recover and are preparing to face their third night at sea.

At the 6 PM rankings, Tom Dolan on Kingspan is ahead of Arno Biston (Article.1) and Hugo Dhallenne (Skipper Macif 2025). Rookie Paul Loiseau on Région Bretagne - CMB Espoir is fourth, just ahead of Nicolas Lunven on PRB. The fleet is spread out over 16 nautical miles, with Hugo Dhallenne to the west and Nicolas Lunven to the east. Once again, the Bay of Biscay lives up to its reputation, and this leg will undoubtedly leave its mark for the rest of the race. The leaders are 260 nautical miles from the finish line in Vigo.
