The village opened its doors in Pornichet on May 27th

From May 27 to 31, 2026, Pornichet will host the official village of La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec, an unmissable event in offshore racing and a major popular highlight in the heart of the town and port.

The official inauguration of the village took place on Wednesday, May 27th at 3:00 PM, in the presence of:

• Jean-Claude Pelleteur, Mayor of Pornichet

• Yann Mahon, Regional Director of the Paprec Pays de la Loire Sud site

• Philippine Collod, Project Manager for La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec

• Marcus Hutchinson, President of the Figaro Beneteau Class

For five days, the village will offer the public an immersion into the heart of the world of offshore racing, with a program of activities accessible to all, including discovery, meetings and festivities.

A vibrant village open to all. Conceived as a true place for living and sharing, the La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec village will offer numerous free activities for young and old every day:

• The Journal de La Solitaire will be presented on stage, with the skippers in attendance, followed by autograph sessions.

• Visits to the Figaro Beneteau 3 boats moored in the port

• Water sports activities and introductory sessions

• Concerts, musical entertainment and shows

• Educational workshops and activities for the whole family

• Meetings with the sailors and partners of the event

A few days before the start of the race, the village will allow the general public to get close to the sailors, discover the behind-the-scenes of the event and share the unique atmosphere of La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec.
