Arthur Meurisse: The Rookie podium in sight

Trained in dinghy and liveaboard racing, Arthur Meurisse has built his sporting career on a wide variety of boats: Optimist, Laser, Open 5.70, J80, Diam 24, with solid experience in fleet racing, match racing and coastal racing. This competitor at heart, an engineer by training, has never stopped aiming for greater things.

A graduate of ICAM and holder of a specialized master's degree in naval architecture from ENSTA Bretagne, Arthur also worked in the nautical industry at NEEL Trimaran and Phantom Foiling, before devoting himself fully to his own ocean racing project.

In 2024, he made a very promising debut on the Figaro circuit with victory in the Tour Voile and in the first edition of the Défi Paprec.

In 2025, he continued his ascent within the Figaro class:

3rd in the Solo Maître CoQ

2nd in the Laura Vergne Trophy (doubles)

This summer he will take part in his first Solitaire du Figaro Paprec, with the desire to learn, to perform, and to establish himself in this great school of endurance and strategy.

Objective: aim for the Bizuth podium, and show that he can compete with the best.
