Arno Biston wants to confirm his status as a 2024 revelation!

Born in Montpellier, originally from Grenoble, Arno Biston developed a passion for outdoor sports at a very early age. He discovered windsurfing as a child, but it was on a catamaran that he developed his taste for regattas. After several regional titles and an instructor's degree, he then spent a few years gaining experience by continuing to race on various boats, notably in Class 40 and Mini 6.50, but also by taking on the role of boat captain and technical director in Class 40 for 2 years.

Based in Lorient as an offshore racing preparer, he embarked on a Mini 6.50 project in 2020 and achieved a very fine 6th place in the second leg of the Mini Transat, aboard an older generation boat.

• In 2024, he competed in his first Solitaire du Figaro Paprec and made a remarkable debut: 11th overall and 1st Rookie. He also finished 10th in the French Elite Championship and 2nd Rookie.

• In 2025, he confirmed his rise to power with an 8th place in the Solo Guy Cotten, a good omen for the rest of the season.

Arno returns this year to La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec with more experience, confidence and clear ambitions.
