A final, bumpy straight.

While on paper the final stretch of the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec seems like a pretty straight route to the finish line in Roscoff, in reality, the sailors have to contend with a very choppy sea and a strong opposing current. We can't wait for things to calm down a bit because life on the water is getting complicated.
With around a hundred miles still to cover, in a south-westerly wind of around twenty knots, the solo sailors will soon be able to lengthen their stride with the passage of a denser front and a westerly wind regime, more conducive to sailing, at least at an angle because the wind is expected to strengthen further.

Still at the head of the fleet, Alexis Loison (Groupe REEL) is leading the roller coaster. 0.6 miles behind, Jules Delpech (P'TIT DUC) is leading the charge with Tom Goron (Groupe Dubreuil) and Victor Le Pape (Région Bretagne – CMB Espoir). All the sailors are engaged in this final sprint towards the goal, hoping that their equipment and their physical strength will hold up.

Portland Bill's Hell
Watching Chloé le Bars' (Endobreizh) footage of Portland Bill in a rough sea, it's unimaginable to put yourself in the shoes of these exceptional sailors. A headwind against the tide and a coefficient of 105 are the ingredients for these exceptional images. It's hard to imagine what Chloé was thinking at that precise moment.
