Maël Garnier, registered for the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec for the 5th time!

Born in Paris, he discovered sailing in the Bay of Morlaix, then entered competition in Saint-Brieuc with dinghies, without having a nautical background. He notably won the French U18 Laser Championship at 16 years old and then in his first year of offshore racing in the Sardinia-Cup in Figaro at 20 years old.

At 24, he will be taking part in his 5th Solitaire du Figaro Paprec, after having won 4th place this year, 30 seconds behind 3rd place in the Transat Paprec.

💪 This winter, before doing it at sea, he pushed his limits on land:

3,400 km by bike, from North to South via the coast and more than 60 partner agencies visited across France.

A challenge to arrive ready, physically and mentally, for this Solitaire du Figaro Paprec!
