With 69,000 contracts, the Macif group is one of the leading pleasure boating insurance companies in France and has been in the sector for 20 years. Since 1987, safety at sea has been one of the major elements of its prevention policy. They organise sailing training sessions at sea offered by the Macif Centre de Voile School and financially support the Société Nationale de Sécurité en Mer (National Society for Safety at Sea) by giving a part of the total pleasure boating earnings.
